Meta is building an AI tool that creates full ad campaigns using just a product image and budget—no humans needed. The system will write copy, design visuals, target audiences, and even adjust ads in real time based on user data.
Aimed at small businesses, the tool promises pro-level ads without agencies or marketing skills. With ads driving 97% of Meta’s revenue, this automation push could reshape the future of digital marketing.

Microsoft just launched Bing Video Creator, letting users generate five-second vertical videos from text prompts using OpenAI’s Sora—no subscription needed. Available now on Bing’s iOS and Android apps, the tool offers 10 fast video credits, unlimited slower ones, and more via Microsoft Rewards.
While Sora hasn’t wowed compared to rivals, this move gives casual users free access to AI video tools for the first time. Desktop and Copilot support are coming soon, potentially expanding the reach of short-form AI content creation.

Apple’s upcoming WWDC is shaping up to be a low-key year for AI, with Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman calling it a “gap year” ahead of bigger plans for 2026. Apple will open its 3B AI models to developers and rebrand current features as “AI-powered,” but major projects like an upgraded Siri and ChatGPT rival remain on hold.
Behind the scenes, Apple’s larger 150B model is nearing ChatGPT-level performance, but concerns over accuracy and internal disagreements are slowing progress. As competitors race ahead, Apple risks falling behind in the AI arms race.

In a new study from Swiss researchers, AI models including GPT-4 and Claude 3.5 outperformed humans on emotional intelligence tests—scoring 81% on average versus 56% for people. The models chose more emotionally appropriate responses to complex scenarios and even created valid tests of their own.
While AI doesn’t feel emotions, its ability to simulate emotional awareness could be a game-changer for roles in mental health, education, and customer service—where emotional intelligence is key.
