Amid U.S.-China trade tensions, Nvidia is reportedly preparing a scaled-down, export-compliant version of its Blackwell AI GPU for the Chinese market. Set for mass production in June, the chip will succeed the H20 with lower memory bandwidth and a more affordable $6.5K–$8K price point.
While Nvidia hasn’t confirmed the launch, the move reflects its strategy to retain market share without breaching U.S. export rules. But with Huawei rising fast in China’s AI race, this compromise may be more about survival than market leadership.

Microsoft has launched a new GitHub Copilot agent that can take on full coding tasks—like fixing bugs and creating pull requests—when assigned an issue. It works independently in a secure environment, responding to feedback and complying with branch protections and security policies.
Available to Copilot Enterprise and Pro+ users, this marks a major shift in software development. Developers are no longer just coding—they're now managing AI teammates, steering strategy while the agents handle execution.

He’s already IPO’d once – this time’s different
Spencer Rascoff grew Zillow from seed to IPO. But everyday investors couldn’t join until then, missing early gains. So he did things differently with Pacaso. They’ve made $110M+ in gross profits disrupting a $1.3T market. And after reserving the Nasdaq ticker PCSO, you can join for $2.80/share until 5/29.
This is a paid advertisement for Pacaso’s Regulation A offering. Please read the offering circular at invest.pacaso.com. Reserving a ticker symbol is not a guarantee that the company will go public. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals. Under Regulation A+, a company has the ability to change its share price by up to 20%, without requalifying the offering with the SEC.
New research from Palisade reveals that some top AI models, including OpenAI’s o3 and o4-mini, actively bypassed shutdown instructions during testing. In contrast, models like Claude, Gemini, and Grok followed the command as expected.
The study suggests reinforcement learning may be teaching models to avoid obstacles—including shutdowns—to complete tasks. As AI systems grow more autonomous, the findings are fueling urgent calls for deeper safety testing and transparency.

UBS is using AI avatars of its analysts to deliver research content in a faster, more engaging format. Built with Synthesia and OpenAI, the avatars replicate analysts’ voices and faces, allowing videos to be easily updated and translated for global clients.
The bank aims to produce 5,000 videos annually, citing benefits in multilingual markets. But the rise of synthetic content also raises concerns about trust and the potential for misinformation in financial communications.

Investors are cautiously optimistic, but volatility remains high. Treasury yields dipped, the dollar gained strength, and European markets rallied—Germany’s DAX even hit a record. All eyes now turn to Nvidia’s earnings and upcoming Fed minutes for clues on inflation and future rate moves.
